Delhi Admissions 2024-25: The Directorate of Education, Delhi is scheduled to release the first merit list for admission to Pre-School (Nursery), Pre-Primary (KG), and Class 1 at private, unaided schools tomorrow, January 12, 2024.
As per the govt. regulations, all private unaided recognized schools admitting children in Pre-School, Pre-Primary, and Class-1 level in the National Capital Territory of Delhi are required to reserve 25% seats for Economically Weaker Section (EWS)/Disadvantaged Group (DG) category students and children with disability.
After the publication of the first admission list, schools will be required to respond to parental queries, if any, from January 13 to January 22, as outlined in the notification.
If there’s a tie among applicants, a random draw will be held. This draw can be done using a computer or slips, and parents will be present during the process. The entire event will be recorded on video, and the school will keep the recorded footage.
Following the announcement of the first allotment list, parents can check the allotment status of their ward on the official website at edudel.nic.in and the respective websites of the schools.
