NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to conduct the JEE Main 2024 session 2 exams from tomorrow, April 4. Candidates who are going to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination – Main April session examinations 2024 must be immersed in their last-minute preparations. However, it is important for them to be aware of the dress code for the engineering entrance exam.

As per the schedule, on April 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9, Paper 1 for B.E./B.Tech will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, while the second shift will run from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Additionally, on April 12, 2024, Paper 2A for B. Arch, Paper 2B for B. Planning, and the combined Paper 2A & 2B for both B. Arch & B. Planning will be conducted. This session also follows a split schedule, with the first shift starting at 9:00 AM and concluding at 12:30 PM.
What you cannot wear
- Caps, hats, scarves, stoles, mufflers, or any head covering (except for medical reasons and with prior permission)
- Jewellery, such as rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, anklets, etc.
- Clothes with elaborate embroidery, metal buttons or zippers, or other metallic items
- Shoes with chunky heels or thick soles
What you can wear
- Light, comfortable clothing made from cotton or other breathable fabrics
- Simple footwear like slippers or sandals
